First Blog Award

How are you? Rainy and gloomy here in Boston MA----home of Harvard, MIT and the Celtics! Hahhahah. Just rubbing it in!

Anyway highway, I have been blogging since ... forever? Blogging was not even popular to regular people. I love writing and reading so, I just write things, as mundane as my great hatred for people with dandruff  to my great passion towards loyalty.

I never participated in blog exchange and awards but this blogging award I am willing to take!

I was nominated by my university instructor Miss Nova Aida Cajucom  at littleprince68 who blogs about her passion in DIY, her beautiful family and very inspiring home tips. So go ahead and visit her lovely blog and you will see why she is one (if not THE) of the favorite teachers in my school.

1. I talk a lot. A whole lot. I love to explain things in detail.

2. I have good memory of events, that is. Bad memory in names.


3. I hate dandruff. Nuff said.

4. I am a trying hard, desperate ever so bad singer and dancer. But I try. Sorry.

5. I can be fully made up today and super dressed down tomorrow. So what? I am a wife, a mother of 3 and full time career woman.

6. I am not good at any sports but I am a HUGE sports fan. You can have me on your team and all you need is ME to cheer for you.


7. My bag collection is ridiculous. No Hermes though.

Blog highlight--- Tina

I have been dying trying  to find out the new blog of one of my fave bloggers---she stopped blogging for awhile and I have been desperately wishing she would come back and that I even asked Chuvaness. Out of respect, I still do not know if she wants people to know--- (her old blog is in private/invite only setting), so i will not post her blog here---but I will have to post this, only because I find it so funny and that my kids actually do this to me---no, no, no--- not the part where I go to "expensive International School meetings", nor the part where she is so magandang maganda ( I wish) but the part where they use "big " words and how they laugh at me. I tell, you, this is totally a scene in my house except that we are not "mayaman." I love Tina though, she is pretty, rich and so down to earth--- and very kalog! If I was rich and magandang maganda-- I could totally be her, jologs and fun to be with. I remember her blogging about being noisy when one of her kids participated in school---can you say that would be me? Screaming my lungs out. Considering International pa ang mga anak niya=--- Oh, I super love her.

I had an early evening meeting in Vito's school last night. He told me we will leave the house at 6:30pm.
While I was changing he went inside my dressing room area and this was the scene.

Vito: Mom, don't be ostentatious.

me: what's ostentatious?

Vito: don't be pompous.

me: what's pompous?

Vito: uhmmm... don't be flamboyant.

me: sandali nga Vito, magka liwanagan nga tayo. Ma uubos na ang buong dictionary sayo. Ano ba talaga ang gusto mo? derechuhin mo na kasi ako.

Vito: don't dress up like you're making pa sikat.

me: I don't need to do that. Matagal na akong sikat.

Vito: okay, okay, just dress proper. I don't want people to judge you.

me: you know what Vito, let me tell you a short story. I am so freaking tired already of people judging me that at this point, I really don't give a shit what they think of me. Basta ang alam ko magandang maganda ako!

me: so, chill dude. You have the most beautiful mother on earth. okay? and don't use big words on me. Cos I don't have time to google.

Blogs I Love

This is funny. When I go online it seems I have a specific way of visiting the sites I get my updates. So here they are. I love chuvaness.com for its varied topics and the immense randomness. I have yet to introduce myself but I have lurked in there for so long. I also like seaofshoes for "make-me-jealous-" moments. This is a blog maintained by a high school student who is awesomely fashionable, she focuses mostly on shoes. Jane is totally adorable. Although a lot may criticize her for flaunting too much extravagance, she is not apologetic for it nor is she bragging. I feel that she just enjoys herself as a young woman. I visit pep.ph ( a Philippine showbiz site), for the old time connection and to update myself with Philippine gossips! I love bomoms for informational entries. I also often visit onechicmama. But this is a confession I have to swallow hard. I am a purseblog addict. I am always at the purse forum trying to satisfy my insatiable appettite for bags. I thought I was bag addict and I was such a horrible shopper and spender and that I have a vast collection.... until I got there and boom..... I am justified... hahhahhah! I guess I can not tell you all my fave blogs to visit, otherwise I be judged. So these are my "sterile" sites!
