What can you do in 25 minutes?

If I need to do a countdown of a shopping moment " rush high " I ever had in my life, yesterday was probably on top of the list. Yesterday was one of those lazy days. In fact, we all woke up late that KC and Josh missed their summer class. I know, I am a bad mama.  I am so sorry. Anyway, I went to get my haircut. I went to the Vietnamese salon I usually go, but my regular stylist was out, I figured I could try this other lady---anyway she looks and smells clean. I know, I am kinda weird like that. I mean, c'mon you do not want anybody shampooing you and caressing your hair for about 1 hour to be smelling stinky, would you? Anyway, she did great. She is very nice, very detailed and most of all--- not very talkative. That really drives me nuts! I do not mind small talks when i am in the salon but, please I go to the salon to relax--- so can you just make me relax? Over all, I love that visit. So love it that I gave her a $12.00 tip. Now, for those who know me, I tip based on the real meaning of  "TIP"--- to insure promptness and not  because it is socially taboo not to. So, good service, good tip. She really did good but in exchange, it took forever. So I hurried and after a quick bath, me and Josh went to the mall to meet up with Fridah and Joey with KC and Pherry. I went straight to Nordstrom---- you know me, I do not go to downtown Boston, so having Nordies in my dreary little corner looks very upscale already. Pathetic,  I know. But that's good that there is only one good department store, otherwise I would be in deeper trouble.

So, want to know what "power shopping" means? It's kinda like "power napping" but more satisfying.... hahahhah. So, I went straight to the "invitation" only presale area for Nordies Anniversarry Sale. And this is where all hell broke loose. I quickly grabbed 3 watches.... in 5 minutes! I swear! I do not have expensive stuff, except my bags---but for some reason, these watches are just calling my name... like crazy. At this point I called Fridah to meet me there instead of the cafeteria. And then, this is when all hell broke loose times ten. She shrieked when she saw the Michael Kors watch she has been lusting for a very long time since she saw it in  the movie The Blind Side. We looked around a little bit more and quickly dismissed the MJ
bags-- because we are trying to be good. Heheheh! Then, we saw this gorgeous Gucci sunglasses and being good went down the drain as quickly as you can say Gucci--- as opposed to saying Ba-len-cee-ya-gah! Fridah picked up the purplish shade, looks black on different angle and lighting. As I was deciding between the watches ( because I thought 3 watches is just way too bad-- even for me), I somehow stumbled over the yummy Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Bag Mini in this yummy magenta shade. So, should I let go of the watches and just get this bag? Or, maybe I will just get 2 watches instead of 3? Or just the watches since I bought 4 bags last May? So many options, too little time. This is about 2pm and I needed to be  at work by 3pm. I hate work! It interferes with my hobby. Hmmmp! I should give up work and focus on my hobby, right? Hahaahah!

I am so excited I can not wait to show you pictures. I will not tell you anymore stories but let the pictures speak.
