Ice Cream

 Being New Englanders, we always look forward to summer. Heck, we think in the 20s with a glimpse of sun is great! Hahahaha. So, whenever we get a chance , we go out and enjoy our ice cream. It seems to be one of a few food we actually like together. The Three Monkeys have such different taste, it's rare when we all like the same thing. We tend to go to Dairy Queen mainly because we live close by but mostly because if the local kids who work there. I like businesses which hire locals and kids and elderly.  

This afternoon, taking advantage of a wonderful afternoon and a day-off tomorrow, I treated the family to DQ!

Nothing beats the joy of having these boys beside me. I feel so safe.

After all that caloric intake, we went to Wal-Mart to buy rice. You know what they say, you go to Wal-Mart and you end up with everything but the one item you went in for. Hahahah. We did find the rice.

... And this my friends is where I leave you for tonite. Don't sob!

The new Family Car

What do you know? We finally replaced our trusty Sequoia. I believe this reliable car has served the family well with almost 130,000 miles over nine years! It was time for a trade because the Three Little Monkey are getting bigger and my cranky wonky Camry can't keep up anymore. 

Introducing the new husky handsome S2! I love the color and this big machine just makes you feel like the king of the road! And yeah, I just told you S2 is totally male! It's for Mr.Hubbs after all! The color is so yummy!

And this S2 has some kick-ass gadgets to boot! Woot!

Can't wait for another Disneyworld trip! There's nothing wrong about going there three times in the last 10 years, right? Not too childish either!  If you ask me, I can go there every year! Let's go! Vroom!

The Kids are Back

Yehey! The kids are back! They came home last Monday morning. Yup as in 12am! Oh God, let me tell you, I have to beg them to stop talking about how they loved it back in Montreal with their cousins and Mamu Janet and Tito Atoy!  

I so miss them! The noise is back but my routine is so much better!

Since Monday, we've shopped for their iPhones and window shopped penny boards and iPad! And oh, we attended the premiere night of the Percy Jackson The Sea of Monster movie. We all read the books and the firsts movie of the series was awful but this second installation is a lot better! Wait, I think, this is actually is our first premiere night together and my first in the US. 

Oh, we can probably catch up with summer activities! Hopefully, this weekend is gonna be great! I love it, I'm so glad my Treasures are back!

Aaaaaah! I terribly miss being mom! Like a really "needed mom." Ha! The kids are so independent they do their own stuff! Left behind in Quincy is Pherry buy he went to the New England Aquarium with his girlfriend! Yup girlfriend! I just got dumped! See?

Anyway, I'm just terribly lonely, I did this!

I posted Joshua's little " all about me" poster in my door! Does not ease the pain makes me smile. Also, I had to dig deep to get an old photo ok KC! My sweet little darling is such a pretty baby!

I gained weight when I became a mother-true, I lost lots of opportunities, missed a lot of fun, failed at so many attempts of perfection BUT, I sure gained ANGELS in my life! So yeah, throw me that size 14 dress please!

Provincetown MA

Beautiful! Arts, fun, bustling activities, restaurants and just beautiful people all over! I can't tell you enough about this place. I visited a long time ago with Mr.Hubbs but we were with the kids so it was not very Provincetown-y! If you know what I mean. 

This time, it was so much more fun! So, how about instead of blah blahs, i'll show you pictures?

You will see lots of artists ranging from musicians, painters to jewelry designers!

I think most people would love just looking at the buildings full  of character and quirkiness.

 

So traditional American architecture!

I have not seen such an eclectic blend of establishments. You go from bookstore to a sex toy shop to clubs to a home and from restaurant to a library in a few steps! I love it!

If you are an avid antique shopper or major arts collector, scour the town proper and you will find a gamut of everything! Unbelievable!

Did you say beach? It's Cape God after all? Sure baby! Here! Beach is all over but nothing beats bathing by the sea! Aside from clouds, I love taking pictures of sand and water! Can you tell? 

The community is bustling with pet lovers and bike riders!

Fridah can resist shopping! Where else could Marc Jacobs put a shop? Why, PTown of course!

But! Provincetown is not just beach, arts and beautiful quaint little town for nothing! It's also world famous for the wonderful and amazing residents. According to an article  I read, 80% of residents are gays or lesbians! 80% gorgeous, fashionable and intelligent people? Can you adopt me? Can you spell FUN? 

If you go, don't forget to pass by the docks for the " artists' row" especially by night! It's absolutely beautiful there by the harbor! Grab some home- made ice cream and hold hands with your loved one! Perfect!

As for food, there's a lot to choose from--- American, street food, patio style and of course, lobster. You're at the Cape after all!

I have to say, I've gotten better seafood platter somewhere else but nothing beats the ambience!

PPPS--- can I be buried there? I just feel my spirit belongs there. I was gay in
